As a young man, I very seldom asked or admitted that I needed money. Most of my adult life I have been afraid to sound or look like I needed help or financial support from family, friends and certainly not my children. I have spent a good deal of my life alone, like the Rock of Gibraltar.

In 1983, I transformed my life. I learned what is unconditional love. The greatest of all human emotions is unconditional love. Before this awareness, I was afraid to risk being hurt, disappointed, embarrassed and rejected by others.

I have been afraid of myself, afraid of my feelings and dreams. Unaware of my birthright to express my unique greatness to others. It has taken all of my adult life to understand and accept responsibility for my feelings, emotions and actions.

I wonder how many more men and women are emotionally shut down and turned off to their feelings?

How many men and women are unaware of who they are?

I have asked myself, where could I have gone to find out about myself and the universal principals of life?

Our schools, my family, the church, associations, organizations, local businesses, the government, none of these institutions or groups taught self-mastery and self-motivation principals.

As an African-American adult, I was unable to find a self-awareness company that was created for, identified with, and taught the universal laws of personal power and greatness to non-whites. I did find that America had thousands of self-motivation books, courses, seminars, workshops, cassette tapes, training programs, classes, groups, TV programs, self improvement videos and DVDs, motivational speakers, consultants, training companies and movies not about non-whites.

As I see it, America has relied on the federal government, local politicians, schools, the church and Black adults to inform and teach each other about themselves. I have been misled, disappointed and realized that these institutions and individuals are ill equipped to provide such a service.

For this reason, in 1994 we created ISEE, Inc. and in 2005, I revived and recreated ISEE the Institute for Self Esteem & Evaluation, Inc. The first nationally operated self-awareness, self-motivation and self-esteem institute in America to teach the universal laws of personal power and greatness to Urban-Americans.

I have designed training events for ambitious adults and youth achievers who want a competitive winning edge in the classroom, their personal and business life. The training programs cover how to transform your talent and ability into unlimited personal power, self-esteem and self-confidence.

My life's mission is to serve and inform Urban-America. I am 100% aware of my responsibility to share my GOD given talents and abilities. I feel the pain and I understand the concerns. I have dedicated my life to my family and to transforming the standard of living of Urban-Americans.

I promise to keep my word everyday of my life. I know together we can have a positive impact on the future of our children. Working together, side by side, we can realize the brightest of all our dreams!
